The Protein Analytics group in Boston is seeking a contractor to execute existing protein analytics workflows. Responsibilities include performing intact MS, peptide mapping, and other biophysical assays such as SEC, HIC, CE-SDS, DSF, DLS, and buffer exchange.

In this role, you will leverage a combination of technical skills to support biologics characterization workflows. While additional experience with laboratory automation is a plus, it's not required. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and an ability to work effectively with different teams and instruments, contributing to a robust characterization platform. This position plays a key role in advancing biologics diversity screening and lead optimization efforts within a collaborative discovery environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain mass spectrometry platforms and implement new workflows for protein characterization.


Perform LC-MS data analysis using various software and bioinformatics tools to determine quality attributes of therapeutic proteins and novel modalities.


Troubleshoot automation methods and equipment to ensure high-throughput protein analyses run efficiently.


Generate frequent characterization summary reports for internal use.


Follow and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for biologics characterization workflows.


Pay Range:

$37 - $44 an hr.
